Bouclé & Tweed
In each of our autumn-winter collections, Trench & Coat designs coats made from fancy fabrics, adding texture and dimension to silhouettes. Among them, bouclé wool and tweeds hold a special place: noble, warm, and characterful fabrics, perfect for elegantly getting through the cold season.
Called bouclé wool or bouclé knit, this material is distinguished by its irregular surface composed of frizzy or looped threads. Slightly voluminous in appearance, it evokes the spirit of boiled wool and gives coats a casual or contemporary style. Bouclé thread also has the particularity of enhancing colors and patterns, especially checks, for unique and graphic pieces.
Trench & Coat has selected a premium quality containing 80% virgin wool for its plain bouclé coats. The result: models that are warm, comfortable, and durable, enhanced by trendy colors that add a modern touch to your winter looks.
Care tips for our bouclé fabrics
As bouclé wool is a delicate fiber, we recommend professional dry cleaning at least once a year, ideally at the end of the winter season. To extend the life of your coat without resorting too often to dry cleaning, you can maintain it regularly:
